THE CHALLENGE
What problems are we solving with this branding project?
The Invest in Carbon Removals project was initiated out of the necessity to support the creation and development of a global community dedicated to carbon dioxide removal.
This initiative is part of the Negative Emission Platform (NEP), whose main objective for 2050 is to implement scalable ‘CDR’ solutions capable of removing CO₂ from the atmosphere and contributing significantly to achieving net-zero emissions, particularly in Europe, but also globally.
The goal of Invest in Carbon Removals is to connect investors with ‘CDR’ solution providers transparently and efficiently, through a safe and well-structured platform that stimulates investment in innovative carbon capture technologies.
The challenge was to create a brand capable of encompassing these concepts and expressing them through a simple, memorable, and impactful visual identity.
THE SOLUTION
What is the best approach to solving the brand problems?
We developed a modern, minimalist visual identity with technological accents, rooted in the ideas of community and expansion, reflecting the brand’s core values: trust, professionalism, and sustainability.
A deep understanding of carbon removal technologies and innovations in this field, as well as their potential to mitigate CO₂’s harmful effects, was key to creating this brand.
Through close collaboration with a dedicated team, we developed an identity that inspires safety and connectivity, offering investors a secure framework to explore CDR opportunities.
This brand holds immense potential for the future of the planet and the direction we are all heading.
THE LOGO
The symbolism behind the logo.
The logo combines a typographic element (“Invest in Carbon Removals”) with an abstract geometric symbol, representing the expansion of a cube from 3D space into 2D space. This symbolizes the connectivity of the global CDR community and emphasizes innovation and expansion. The color palette and simple geometry of the logo underscore the brand’s seriousness and commitment to innovation and growth.
